HOO KNIVES LIFETIME GUARANTEE
HOO DESIGNS LIMITED extends a comprehensive guarantee covering manufacturing faults or defects throughout the entire lifespan of our knives. To avail of warranty and/or maintenance services, the knife must retain its original configuration; any alterations may result in voiding the warranty. A detailed list of modifications that may impact warranty eligibility is provided below.
Should a HOO Knives product deviate from its original functionality due to faulty workmanship or materials, we commit to rectifying such defects free of charge. However, this guarantee does not encompass issues arising from natural materials, normal wear-and-tear, incorrect applications, neglect, abuse, misuse, modifications, or other forms of mistreatment.
This lifetime guarantee specifically applies to HOO DESIGNS LIMITED knives, products, and accessories purchased from HOOKNIVES.COM and authorised stockists, solely for the original purchaser and original purchase. Items acquired from other sources typically do not fall under this guarantee.
Excluded from this cover are problems arising from:
- Improper use e.g. opening lids, use as a screwdriver.
- Dropping the knife onto a hard surface.
- Use with frozen foods.
- Improper washing and cleaning e.g. dishwashing, drip-drying.
- Excessive exposure to acidic substances or damp conditions.
- After-factory, aftermarket or custom modification of any HOO DESIGNS LIMITED products may invalidate your warranty.
- HOO DESIGNS LIMITED does not warrant its products against normal wear or misuse. Hoo knives are not intended to be used as hammers, chisels, pry bars, or screwdrivers. If your knife was damaged due to misuse, our repair department can analyse the damage and repair it for a reasonable fee. Our limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from region to region.

Please be aware that some knives may be irreparable, and older models might lack available replacement parts. In such cases, HOO DESIGNS LIMITED will return the knife, and the customer will cover the return shipping costs they encountered.
