After months of anticipation, the Hoo Knives Dragon is finally here. Prototyping, testing, refining.. it’s all led to this moment.

The Dragon is available now in three stunning finishes. The Satin finish is limited to just 150 pieces, each individually numbered from 1 to 150. The Stonewashed finish has only 25 pieces available, and the Blackout DLC finish is also limited to just 25.

All pre-orders have now been dispatched 🎉 and the door is officially open for regular orders. Quantities are extremely limited and moving quickly, so if you’ve been waiting to claim your Dragon, now’s the time.

We’re thrilled to announce that prototyping for the Hoo Dragon is now underway — and early pre-orders are officially open!

The Dragon is a huge milestone for us and myself as a British Knife designer — We’ve put a lot of thought, time, and care into it, and it feels like a big step forward for Hoo Knives.

The Dragon is special — it’s our first slip joint, keeping the non-locking, UK-friendly spirit we’re known for, but introducing a new mechanism that’s opened up a whole new side of our design work. It’s been a real labour of love getting it right.

We’re using this early access phase to gauge interest and plan production numbers for each finish — so if you want to guarantee your Dragon (and your preferred finish), now’s a great time to jump in!

No pressure though — pre-orders will remain open until production is completed.
While we would absolutely love your support early (it really does help us massively), there’s no need to panic or rush. We just want to be open with the community as we bring this project to life.

When you add a Dragon to your cart, the website will clearly indicate that it’s a pre-order — so you’ll know exactly what to expect. No hidden surprises, no confusion — just honest progress updates as we go.

Only the Satin blades will be numbered, this is our way of saying thank you for believing in the Dragon from the very start and keeping in line with Hoo tradition of numbering our first production run.
